Hosting Policy
Deelium's hosting policy is simple and mutual between you, the host, and Deelium, the company. We like to keep obligations as a host minimal, but understandable, so you have a clear picture of what becoming a host with Deelium entails.
Our Deelium policy entails the following for you as a host:
You are engaging with Deelium to host a LoRaWAN router (Hotspot) in your home that uses your pre-existing internet connection to create a lower spectrum network that uses 915MHZ for any North American connection.
You are not the owner of the hotspot but will be the temporary host for the hotspot to provide coverage for your nearby area. The hotspot is under the sole ownership of Deelium Networks, LLC, and under no circumstances can you trade, exchange, move, or sell the hotspot to anyone unless supervised or granted permission by Deelium to do so.
You are financially liable and take full responsibility for any damages to the hotspot while it's under your possession as a host. A security deposit fund for each hotspot will be created by withholding 50% of monthly earnings until a $500 security deposit fund is established. The security deposit will be paid to the host when the hotspot is returned in working order.
You acknowledge that you are allowed, at any time, to contact Deelium to arrange to have the hotspot returned to Deelium if you decide that you do not want it anymore. Return shipping costs may be withheld from the hotspot's security deposit balance.
Monthly earnings estimates listed on the Deelium website are not guaranteed, and earnings estimates can change at any time based on the network conditions and forecasts.
Modifications to the hotspot to increase coverage and earnings (e.g. upgraded outdoor antenna and related equipment) are not permitted unless first approved by Deelium. Deelium is not liable for any damages incurred to the host's property as a result of the modifications (e.g. lightning strike damages as a result of an improperly grounded antenna rod, holes drilled for antenna cable access, etc.) and it is the host's sole responsibility to ensure all modifications meet local safety codes. Deelium can provide general guidance, but we are not safety code enforcers. Modification equipment and installation costs are the financial responsibility of the host. However, if a host is unable to pay for the modification equipment upfront, Deelium may give the equipment to the host and withhold 50% of the host's monthly earnings until the cost of the equipment is covered.
And entails the following for us as a company:
Deelium acknowledges that the Host (and if applicable, the Referrer) is to be paid a monthly commission, to which the value is determined by Deelium based on the overall performance of the hotspot.
Deelium takes responsibility for the delivery, communication, and remote setup assistance of the hotspot.
Deelium is allowed, at any time, to contact the host and arrange return delivery of the hotspot from the host's location.
Deelium is not allowed to market, sell, exploit, exchange, or trade any information received by the host. Such information includes: Name, Address, Phone Number, E-Mail, Age, Sex, Orientation, Race, Ethnicity, or other Personal Identifiable Information.
